A very charming 1930s, double sided trade sign for a clock maker/ retailer.
The clock would have originally hung outside the shop.
Decorative embossed cast pocket watch case (heavy).
With its original gold paint.
The sign is hand painted on both sides, one side representing a clock face, the other with the Latin phrase “ Tempus Fugit”, translating to “Time Flies”.
A lovely, rare, honest piece of trade advertising.
