A large, oval, very decorative English mirror.
Bevelled glass with a carved wood and gesso frame which has an impressive frieze and pediment.
Decorated with coloured acorns and a rose garland of incredible detail.
The mirror is completely original and untouched, with all gilding and paintwork in good condition as it has never been over painted.
The mirror has the original back boards.
A mirror of this size and detail is very hard to find in such good condition.
This example has only a tiny amount of age related wear and damage, being 99% perfect.
The mercury mirror plate has some minor foxing to the upper left side in keeping with its age.
