19thc Gargoyles

A very rare pair of 19thc, snarling zinc gargoyles, with a devil like appearance.
Originally they would have been part of the water system on a large country house property.
The rainwater would have run through the gargoyles mouth into a hopper or down pipe.
The could be reinstated or used as very decorative pieces.
Each has an old hook so can easily be displayed.
Incredibly rare and hard to find a pair, both in great condition with no damage or repairs.
With natural aged patina finish.
