An English, Georgian, elegant window seat/daybed/sofa.
Commonly used as window seating, this example comprises of a removable back rest, which when in place makes a solid sofa.
The frame is a lovely rich colour and is in overall good condition, with minimal age related wear.
The rattan is in very good, solid, useable condition, with only a couple of small areas of minor loss.
The removable seat and bolsters are a later addition, though in a style and colours in keeping with the period.
Sitting on decorative brass claw feet, with brass ball castors.
A very decorative and useable piece of antique furniture.
