A decorative mid 19thc boudoir chair in the style of a cock fighting chair, comprising of an elegant wooden frame with silk upholstery and deep red button back finish.
The frame is very solid and is sitting on decorative carved and gilded front legs with sweeping back legs, again in original gold gilding.
European in origin, most likely Italian.
