19thc Card Table
Sold
Most likely by A W N Pugin of Scottish designers Morrison & Co, a very decorative card/games table.
Finished in burr walnut, the table extends via a slider which the drop leaf then folds down onto.
There is card and counter storage underneath the table.
When the table is extended a drinks holder pops out of each corner depicting each of the 4 suits of a pack of cards.
When the table is closed these retract and become a decorative feature of the table.
Each suit is hand painted over mirrored glass.
The top has 4 brass money/chip holes.
A great, useful and decorative games table, in very good condition with minimal age related wear.
