All items are sold as seen without exception.
As many items are antique/secondhand they will often show signs of age related wear and usage.
We are always happy to provide additional photos if requested before purchase.
All electrical items are sold as not working even if seen to be, and should be checked by a qualified electrician before use.
Online purchases in relation to Distance Selling.
Please note that all online purchases under the Distance Selling Consumer Act have a maximum of 14 days from date of purchase to be returned. All items must be returned at the purchasers cost and in the condition they were received. A refund will then be issued within 14 days.
Purchases made in the shop premises will only be refunded if deemed to be faulty and returned in the same condition within 7 days of purchase.
STORAGE OF ITEMS
All items purchased must be collected from the shop premises within 4 weeks.
If you require an item to be shipped an address, date and time for delivery must be agreed within 4 weeks of purchase.
All items that have not been collected, or shipping arrangements have not been made within the 4 week period will then be charged storage and stored for a maximum of an additional 4 weeks unless otherwise agreed.
The chargeable rate within this 4 weeks is charged at £50 per item per week.
If the item is to be collected or shipped within the 4 week chargeable period the storage cost must be paid first.
After the 4 week chargeable period has ended the items will be resold with no reimbursement to the purchaser. This is without exception.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SHIPPING
We offer worldwide shipping for customers unable to collect an item in person.
We use professional, independent couriers and international and national shippers.
All items are covered against loss.
All items are covered against damage with exception of glass, mirrors, china and lighting.
If you require any item to be fully insured against loss and damage this can only be carried out by an independent courier. Please contact us for a quote.
We ship items as a non profitable service therefore any item lost or damaged in transit is solely the responsibility of the courier/shipper to reimburse any financial loss. If a claim arises it will be solely between the purchaser and courier/shipper to come to an agreeable resolution.
No refunds will be issued without exception from Noah Valentine Antiques Limited.
All shipping information will be forwarded to the purchaser ie tracking number, name of shipping company or contact details of independent courier.
All national items will be shipped within 7 business days of purchase.
All international purchases will be shipped within 14 business days of purchase.
